You will be prompted for name and password, it takes less than a minute for the game to give up and ask you about a LAN game. Multiplayer is limited to LAN, as far as I know, there is no official network to hook up with other players. You have to add it using commands from the console. The only thing I looked up on the internet was my portrait which you can customize with a paint program such as GIMP. I don't know about modding the existing models but the built in game editor seems to work well. I have never had any issues with the company to that effect. I just run the installer and everything works.
When I buy games from GOG (Good Old Games) they remove the need for CD keys. I am not on a Mac, but it seems to be working just fine. Not so long ago, GOG was giving customers a free DLC of NWN ver 1.69. I would appreciate hearing from other players who go it working on their Macs. Will NWN v 1.69 via PlayOnMac be compatible with PC's running NWN v 1.69 for local multiplayer play? Do I need to have a unique CD key for each installation on my local computers to make local network play happen?ĥ. What I want to do is to be able to play NWN at home on my local network via multiplayer. When using PlayOnMac to play NWN, is it possible to add some of the community content like CEP, realistic fists, other hakpacks, Player's Resource Consortium () and if so, how to do it?Ĥ.
How do I install patches, like the final NWN 1.69 patch? Does this have to be done via PlayOnMac or can it be done within the file directory via Finder?ģ.

PlayOnMac is apparently designed to work with the GOG version of NWN. That being said, I have some questions that I'd like to get answers to, just to clarify how this will workġ. I came upon this PlayOnMac software some time ago and was intrigued with the possibility of playing one of my favorite PC games - Neverwinter Nights (the old one by Bioware) on my Mac, which has now become my main computer.
